Extras on Animatorly

Nobody can buy extras today. There is no payment form, and we do not collect payment details. Not every extra below is built yet. Prices will be published on this page before anyone is charged.

Free, always

• A useful profile
• Up to 6 portfolio pieces
• 1 Vimeo or YouTube showreel
• A normal listing in the animator directory
• The Email confirmed mark (see Verified)
• A numeric profile address, /animators/<number>

Contacting an animator is free for clients, and taking client work is free for animators. Clients never pay to hire. None of that depends on extras.

Why you might buy a month

The main reason is to be easier to find and easier to trust. Both are limited, so they are the part worth paying for.

• Higher placement and featured spots. Higher placement in search and rotating featured spots. The number of featured spots is limited, and Animatorly decides how many there are.
• The Verified badge. Verified is included with a paid month once that process opens. It still needs its own checks before the badge appears, and it is not available yet.

A paid month also includes:

• Unlimited portfolio pieces
• A custom name in your profile address
• Profile view stats
• A pinned hero showreel

How a paid month works

Extras are prepaid for one calendar month. When the month ends, the extras end. Nothing renews by itself, and nobody is charged without choosing to buy. If you want extras again, you buy another month.

Founding animators

The first 50 animators to open a profile are founding members. Founding members get a founding mark on their profile as early members of Animatorly. It does not come with free extras.

When checkout opens, founding members may be offered a lower price on a paid month. If so, the price will be published before anyone is charged, and nobody is charged automatically. No founding price is set yet.

Money

Extras never change how Animatorly handles money between animators and clients. Animatorly never takes a cut and never handles payments between animators and clients. You agree the work and the price directly with each other, and pay each other directly.

Later

We may later offer clients an optional way to pay to broadcast or feature a job so it reaches more animators. That is not built and not planned for a date. Hiring through Animatorly stays free.
